CNC Mechanic / Polymechanic / Production Mechanic (m/f/d)

For an established and future-oriented production company in the Basel region, we are looking for an experienced specialist in the field of CNC manufacturing. In this versatile position, you are responsible for the independent setup, operation, and monitoring of modern CNC machines and ensure precise and high-quality manufacturing. Tasks

• Independent setup, operation, and monitoring of CNC long-turning machines
• Manufacturing of precise turned parts and series according to technical drawings
• Running in and optimizing the machines and production processes
• Performing tool changes and corrections
• Continuous monitoring of the production process
• Performing quality and dimensional controls on the manufactured workpieces
• Troubleshooting minor malfunctions and ensuring a smooth production process
• Performing simple maintenance and servicing work
• Compliance with the specified quality, safety, and production standards

Profile

• Completed technical training, e.g., as a Polymechanic, Production Mechanic, Décolleteur, Machining Mechanic, or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in CNC machining, ideally in CNC long-turning
• Experience in the independent setup and operation of CNC machines
• Good knowledge in reading and implementing technical drawings
• Confident handling of measuring and testing equipment
• Experience with STAR or INDEX machines is an advantage
• High awareness of quality and precision
• Independent, reliable, and careful way of working
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity
• Good German language skills
• Team player and responsible personality
