Final Assembly Technician, Shift Work (m/f/d)

In final assembly, many individual components are turned into a finished product. At Bucher Leichtbau, you assemble high-quality lightweight systems and aircraft interiors that are later used worldwide. You work precisely according to drawings, keep an eye on every detail, and work together with your team to ensure that our products are ready for their use.
Your contribution makes the difference between individual parts and a finished system.

• You assemble galleys and other aircraft interiors up to final delivery.
• You assemble complex sub-assemblies according to technical drawings, work instructions, and checklists.
• We work in a 2-shift operation (early and late shifts, but no night shift).
• The net working time in shift operation is 40.25 h/week
• You perform precise assembly and gluing work and ensure that every detail is in place.
• You inspect finished products using defined checklists, operation plans, as well as ATP/ATR.
• You carry out repair work at the designated workstation in the Rep Shop.
• You ensure that machines and tools remain ready for use.
• You contribute when it comes to further improving processes and products.
• You take responsibility in the team and can also develop yourself perspectively as a deputy within the department.

You are a practitioner who likes to work with your hands, understands technical contexts, and is only satisfied when the result is correct.

• Some years of professional experience as a technician in a technical environment
• A technical training in the mechanical field, e.g., as a polymechanic, machine fitter, or metal construction practitioner, is an advantage
• You can read technical drawings and implement them confidently in practice
• Ideally, you have already worked for at least two years in a regulated working environment
• Good PC user skills
• Good German skills in spoken and written form
• You work independently, reliably, and precisely
• You have a quick grasp and like to find good solutions together with others
• Professional and respectful interaction within the team is a matter of course for you
