For over 1'000 years, Kloster Einsiedeln has been a place of residence and life for the Benedictine community, as well as a place of encounter for pilgrims, guests, and visitors from all over the world. To ensure that this special place is preserved, our internal workshops ensure the maintenance, upkeep, and further development of the historical buildings and properties. You plan and implement construction measures, thereby making an important contribution to the long-term preservation of the monastery and its values. All work is carried out in close cooperation with monument preservation. For our workshop team, we are looking for a motivated specialist as Mason EFZ by or after agreement. Your tasks * Masonry work in structural and civil engineering on the properties of Kloster Einsiedeln and other external locations * Collaboration in the renovation and maintenance of historical building fabric * Plastering work in the interior and exterior * Erecting scaffolding for various tasks * Maintenance work on roads, paths, squares, and waters * Support with seasonal work such as winter service as well as other versatile tasks. Your profile * Completed training as Mason EFZ * Professional experience is an advantage; motivated career starters are also welcome * Interest in traditional craftsmanship and historical buildings * Good German language skills (at least level B1) as well as driving license category B * Independent, reliable, and team-oriented way of working * Physical resilience, flexibility, and enjoyment of varied tasks.
