Your area of responsibility:

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC turning, milling, and grinding machines as well as peripheral and production equipment
• Repair of assemblies, drives, guides, bearings, pumps, valves, clamping systems, and other machine components
• Execution of maintenance and repair tasks as well as monitoring maintenance intervals
• Technical problem solving and continuous improvements
• Support of bar feeders, chip conveyors, coolant systems, extraction systems, pumps, and other auxiliary units
• Execution of building maintenance and infrastructure work
• Cooperation with machine manufacturers and external service technicians

Your qualification:

To be successful in this position, you possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Completed basic technical training as Polymechaniker EFZ, Automatiker EFZ, Instandhaltungsfachmann with federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis), or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the field of CNC turning and milling machines
• Very good mechanical and electrotechnical expertise as well as sound knowledge in pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experience in independent troubleshooting, malfunction diagnosis, and repair of production facilities
• Confident handling of technical drawings, electrical circuit diagrams, as well as diagnostic and measuring devices
• Good knowledge of control and automation technology, especially CNC and PLC controls
• Experience with preventive maintenance and systematic root cause analysis
• Knowledge in handling CNC machines from Tornos, Index, Star, Hanwha, or comparable manufacturers is an advantage
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
