Operations Electrician / Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

For our production site in Trimbach, Switzerland, we are looking for an engaged, practice-oriented personality who tackles technical challenges and takes responsibility, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Do you want to contribute your electrotechnical know-how and actively help shape maintenance? We look forward to both technically savvy specialists and experienced personalities with coordination or leadership experience. Depending on qualification and experience, your area of responsibility may include additional technical and organizational responsibility in addition to operational work.

Your Tasks

• Ensuring reliable and safe operation of our production plants and technical infrastructure.
• Carrying out preventive, condition-oriented, and corrective maintenance on production machines, supply systems, and technical building systems.
• Diagnosis and rectification of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation technology malfunctions.
• Carrying out electrical maintenance, repair, and installation work as well as controls and documentation according to applicable regulations and internal safety standards, within the scope of your qualification and authorization.
• Working with PLC-controlled systems, sensors, actuators, motors, and drives as well as supporting mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Analysis of recurring malfunctions and participation in improvement projects, machine adjustments, as well as the commissioning of new or adapted systems.
• Close cooperation with Production, Engineering, and EHS as well as coordination and alignment with external technical service providers.
• Depending on experience and qualification: participation in the planning and prioritization of maintenance measures, coordination of technical assignments, and technical guidance of colleagues.

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training (EFZ) as an Electrician, Automations Technician, Electrical Installer, or a comparable electrotechnical qualification.
• Knowledge in electrical engineering, electrical troubleshooting, and reading technical schematics; experience in industrial maintenance or a comparable production environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge in control and automation technology as well as interest in mechanical and other technical maintenance tasks.
• A permit according to NIV Art. 13 is desirable, but not a requirement. Knowledge of Swiss electrical regulations and standards (NIV/NIN) is an advantage.
• Independent, structured, and safety-conscious way of working, strong solution orientation, and enjoyment of practical work.
• Organizational skills and the willingness to take responsibility for technical topics and actively drive improvements.
• Experience in the coordination of technical tasks, the technical guidance of employees, or the leadership of a technical team is welcome, but not a requirement.
• Good German skills; English skills as well as experience in a regulated production environment are an advantage.
