Machine Operator: Extrusion – High-frequency cables (m/f/d) 100%

For our client, a leading and innovative company in cable manufacturing, we are looking for a committed and reliable talent as an Extrusion Machine Operator, to start immediately or by arrangement. In this position, you will take on a key role in the manufacture of high-precision high-frequency cables. Your tasks

• Machine operation & setup processes: Independent setting up, starting up, operating, and monitoring the thermoplastic extrusion systems as well as providing materials according to production orders, recipes, and work instructions.
• Process monitoring & quality: Ensuring a smooth production process, initiating necessary process adjustments, as well as seamless execution, documentation, and evaluation of quality tests according to the test plan.
• Maintenance & workplace organization: Cleaning, care, and autonomous maintenance work on the systems as well as active participation in the further development and optimization of the workplace and production according to Lean principles.
• Shift handover & optimization: Careful preparation of the systems for the shift change as well as active participation in the continuous optimization of processes, workflows, and standards.

Qualifications

What you bring with you

• Education: Successfully completed basic training as a Machine Operator EFZ, Plastics Technologist, or another basic mechanical training.
• Experience: Practical professional experience in the operation of production or industrial systems, ideally in an extrusion environment.
• Way of working & personality: Independent, exact, and responsible way of working with high quality awareness, technical flair, and enjoyment of working in a team.
• Languages & shift availability: Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as the willingness to work in 3-shift operation (if required also in the 4-shift model).
