For an internationally active industrial company in the Basel area, we are looking for an experienced and team-oriented personality for the assembly, commissioning, and setup of technically demanding machines and systems as part of succession planning.

In this versatile position, you will work on exciting projects and accompany machines and systems from pre-assembly to successful commissioning and acceptance.

Job Description

• Mechanical pre-assembly of assemblies and components
• Assembly and final assembly of technically demanding machines and systems
• Carrying out repairs, adjustments, and optimizations on machines and assemblies
• Installation work in the areas of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical engineering
• Setup, commissioning, and functional testing of customer-specific systems
• Carrying out machine acceptances after completion
• Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and project management
• Creation, maintenance, and updating of assembly instructions as well as technical documentation

Requirement Profile

• Completed basic technical training as a polymechanic, production mechanic, machine mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, or comparable
• Several years of experience in the assembly of machines or systems
• Experience in mechanical engineering or special purpose machine construction is an advantage
• Good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Technical understanding of complex assemblies and systems
• Independent, structured, and quality-conscious way of working
• Ability to work in a team as well as strong communication skills
• Experience with ERP systems and common Microsoft Office applications
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
• English or Italian skills are an advantage
