For our client from the Canton Luzern, we are looking for a carpenter, joiner or very experienced timber construction assistant for production in Altbüron, starting immediately.

You will work mainly in the workshop and support the team in the production of timber construction elements. We are looking for a person with manual experience who can read plans, work independently and help productively in timber construction production.

Job Description

• Manufacture of timber construction elements in the workshop
• Collaboration in wall, ceiling and roof element construction
• Cutting and processing of wood and sheet materials
• Assembling timber constructions according to plan
• Boarding of timber frame elements
• Installing insulation and other materials
• Mounting of substructures
• Operating standard machines and hand tools
• Carrying out dimensional and quality controls
• Independent work according to production and element plans
• Supporting the existing production team
• General carpenter, joiner and timber construction work

Requirement Profile

• Training as Carpenter EFZ, Joiner EFZ or Woodworker EBA is an advantage
• Alternatively several years of professional experience as a timber construction worker or timber construction assistant
• Good experience in timber construction, element construction or in joinery
• Experience in timber construction production is an advantage
• You can read plans and dimensional specifications
• Confident handling of machines and hand tools
• Independent, exact and efficient way of working
• Good oral German skills
• Physical fitness and manual dexterity
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work in a team
• You are available immediately
• Driving license category B and own vehicle are an advantage
