Construction Manager Structural Engineering (m/f/d)

Introduction

For our client, an established company in structural engineering, we are looking for you as a Construction Manager Structural Engineering (m/f/d). In this role, you will take responsibility for the operational construction management and ensure quality, costs, and deadlines across all project phases.

Tasks

• Overall responsibility on the construction site: organization, coordination, and leadership of the involved contractors and service providers
• Cost, schedule, and quality control according to project goals; reporting, construction journal, meetings, and minutes
• Tendering and awarding in cooperation with project management/planning, invoice verification, and change management
• Interface management with the client, planning, authorities, neighbors, and internal departments
• Quality assurance and occupational safety (SUVA specifications), performing inspections, acceptances, and defect management until handover
• Construction administration and scheduling

Profile

• Completed construction-related training (e.g., Structural Drafter EFZ, Carpenter EFZ, Mason EFZ) with further training as a Construction Manager, Technician HF Construction Planning, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in structural engineering construction management
• Sound knowledge of SIA standards, construction processes, and construction administration; confident appearance on the construction site
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working; strong communication and negotiation skills
• Very good German skills in spoken and written; other languages an advantage
