Apprentice Heating Designer (M/F) at 100 %

As an apprentice Building Technology Designer, specialized in heating, you will learn to design the heating installations that ensure comfort and warmth in buildings.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Study building plans and understand the heating needs of future users.
• Draw heating installations using specialized computer software (CAD).
• Design heating networks and plan the distribution of heat in buildings.
• Calculate the heat requirements of buildings and dimension the installations according to their characteristics.
• Choose suitable equipment, such as heat pumps, boilers, radiators, underfloor heating, circulators, and pipes.
• Create technical plans and diagrams intended for installers for the execution of work.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals in order to coordinate technical installations in buildings.
• Establish material lists and participate in the estimation of installation costs.
• Take into account energy efficiency, renewable energies, and solutions allowing for the reduction of energy consumption.
• Respect standards and safety rules, particularly regarding the environment, thermal insulation, soundproofing, and fire protection.
• Follow projects and participate in inspections to verify that the installations correspond to the plans and technical requirements.
• Throughout your training, you will develop your technical skills, your precision, your sense of organization, and your team spirit.
