CNC Operator

As part of a recruitment for one of our clients, we are looking for a CNC Production Operator.

You will evolve in a demanding technical environment. You will be responsible for preparing and operating numerical control (CNC) machines, while guaranteeing the conformity of the manufactured products and the smooth running of production operations.

Responsibilities

Preparation and startup of machines

• Prepare machines before the start of production.
• Mount, dismount and pre-set tooling.
• Perform necessary adjustments and check the setup parts.
• Complete production tracking documents.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation in accordance with 5S principles.

Operation of CNC machines

• Operate one or more CNC machines and ensure the smooth running of manufacturing.
• Verify raw material, batches, diameters and quantities.
• Ensure the monitoring of tools and production parameters.
• Perform routine machine servicing as well as first-level maintenance.

Quality control

• Inspect parts in accordance with technical drawings, dimensions and defined tolerances.
• Perform self-checks and record results.
• Apply manufacturing procedures and instructions.
• Identify and report any anomaly or non-conformity.

Profile

• Training as a mechanic, mechanic-lathe operator, lathe operator or equivalent training.
• Several years of experience in the field of machining, ideally on CNC machines.
• Good mastery of measuring devices and cutting tools.
• Knowledge of CNC controls and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Rigor, precision and sense of responsibility.
• Autonomy, versatility and ability to adapt.
• Team spirit and constructive communication.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
