Water Systems Assembler, shift work (m/f/d)

You bring water to where it needs to take off.

Sounds unusual – and it is. At Bucher Leichtbau, complex water systems are created for aircraft galleys. As a Water Systems Assembler, you ensure that these systems function reliably – from the first component to the final inspection.

• You assemble water system components and build complete systems for our galleys from them.
• You pre-assemble components and prepare them for final assembly.
• We work in a 2-shift operation (early and late shifts, but no night shift).
• The net working time in shift operation is 40.25 h/week
• You perform assembly and gluing work according to technical drawings and work instructions.
• You test our systems with pressure, flow, and differential measurements and document the results in test reports.
• You ensure that every system meets our high requirements through functional and quality tests.
• You keep machines and tools in good condition, thereby ensuring a smooth production process.
• After your induction, you can also contribute your practical knowledge to the development of new products.
• You take responsibility within the team and support your colleagues across departments if necessary.
• You are not just an assembler – you will become a specialist for an important part of our aircraft systems.

You are curious, technically interested, and enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics.

• Completed training as a sanitary installer, refrigeration technician, hydraulic technician, pneumatic technician, or polymechanic
• Career changers from related technical professions are also welcome if you are eager for something new
• Several years of professional experience and ideally experience in assembly
• Enjoyment of working with technical systems
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
• English skills are an advantage
• Exact, clean, and quality-conscious way of working
• High self-motivation and resilience
• Team spirit and willingness to take on responsibility
