Background: The "Operations & Maintain Assets" organization is responsible for ensuring building operations and providing services in the maintenance area at the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations.

We are looking for a Maintenance Specialist (Maintenance Mechanic) (f/m) in the area of "Production and Development" for the Basel/Kaiseraugst location. The place of work is in Basel, occasional work assignments in Kaiseraugst may be possible.

As a Maintenance Specialist (Maintenance Mechanic) (f/m), you are responsible for:

• Troubleshooting, maintenance, and modifications to production plants (control, membrane, aeration, and floor valves)
• Mechanical seals: Assembly / Disassembly / Damage analysis
• Maintenance, upkeep, and troubleshooting of vacuum pumps in the laboratory and production
• Maintenance and upkeep of safety valves and rupture discs
• Operating tool issuance including order processing

Your expertise empowers you to make independent decisions within your area of competence and to inspire with your performance. Your proactive contribution of new concepts and your cooperative collaboration contribute to the "One Roche" idea.
The perfect candidate: Possesses several years of professional experience in maintenance, as well as further training as a maintenance specialist. GMP knowledge, English skills, and fluent German skills in speaking and writing round off the profile.

• Customer care
• Spare parts management in the area of responsibility
• Supporting Engineering with know-how
• Assembly and disassembly work
• Troubleshooting
• Professional execution of work in the trade
• Perform troubleshooting, overhauls, maintenance, and upkeep
• GMP-compliant documentation of activities
• Accompanying new construction and conversion projects
• Creating and elaborating internal offers
• Performing activities in sterile areas zones A-D
• Service, material, and spare parts ordering
• Working according to SGU regulations
• Authorizations according to PST signature regulations
• Complying with and supporting Roche values according to PS Operating Model
• Independent processing of training objects in Cornerstone

Must Haves:

• Further training as a maintenance specialist • Completed technical vocational training in the field of mechanics (e.g., mechanic, polymechanic, maintenance mechanic) • Several years of professional experience in maintenance • Fluent German skills in speaking and writing B2

• GMP knowledge
