House Painter

On behalf of companies active in construction and renovation in the canton of Fribourg, we are looking for a qualified house painter to strengthen teams on various construction sites. The position is oriented towards interior and exterior work on new or renovated buildings, in compliance with Swiss quality and safety standards. You will intervene in collaboration with other trades and contribute to delivering clean, careful, and durable works. This function is addressed to people having a good mastery of painting techniques and surface preparation, as well as a methodical approach to work on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare interior and exterior surfaces while respecting safety directives and site instructions.
• Apply paints, stains, and coatings manually or mechanically according to the systems defined by the site management.
• Perform protection, masking, and cleaning work on surfaces in order to guarantee a clean finish in accordance with expectations.
• Ensure small basic repairs on surfaces, such as filling, sanding, and leveling before painting work.
• Organize the workstation, manage the equipment provided, and signal supply needs in a structured manner.
• Collaborate with other professionals present on the construction site while respecting deadlines, priorities, and hierarchical instructions.

• Practical experience as a house painter or similar function on construction sites.
• Precision, attention to detail, and clean work in the daily execution of tasks.
• Reliability, punctuality, and respect for the schedules agreed upon with the team and the manager.
• Respectful attitude towards colleagues, clients, and the property provided.
• Flexibility to adapt to the different situations encountered on construction sites in the region.
