Activities:

• Independent setup, programming, and operation of CNC-controlled short and long-turning machines
• Carrying out first article inspections as well as documentation of the results
• Monitoring and ensuring the required product quality through continuous intermediate and final inspections
• Responsible for the compliance and further development of our quality standards
• Active participation in process improvements and internal optimization projects
• Helping to shape continuous improvement measures according to the principles of Lean Management
• Carrying out maintenance work as well as preventive maintenance measures on the production systems
• Ensuring reliable, trouble-free, and efficient machine operation

Requirements:

• Completed training as a Polymechaniker, Feinmechaniker, or in a comparable technical field
• Several years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in an internationally oriented industrial company
• Sound knowledge of Lean Management and experience in the practical application of corresponding methods
• Independent, solution-oriented, and structured way of working with a strong team spirit
• High technical understanding as well as flexibility, resilience, and a committed work attitude
• Readiness for shifts in 2- to 3-shift operations as well as for taking on on-call services
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
