Railway Mechanic/Operator - training provided 2x8/3x8

Desired profile:

• Professional experience in an industrial setting, in production, logistics, or a demanding work environment
• Very good physical condition essential for performing sustained activity and working regularly in the field
• Used to constraining positions involving wearing PPE, shifted schedules, and difficult environmental conditions
• Locomotive driver's license appreciated, but not essential: the necessary training will be provided by the company
• Rigor, vigilance, good stress management, and the ability to communicate clearly with teams

Main responsibilities:

• Driving and maneuvering locomotives for the movement, positioning, and sorting of wagons on the internal railway network
• Preparation of train sets: coupling and uncoupling, connecting air lines, and checking the correct attachment of wagons
• Provision and removal of wagons on loading and unloading tracks, as well as weighing or tare weighing as needed
• Carrying out routine checks of the locomotive, maintaining the logbook, and reporting any anomaly
• Cleaning, refueling, and simple maintenance of the locomotive and railway equipment
• Strict application of safety instructions and coordination of movements by radio with the teams present on site
