VERSATILE WORKSHOP JOINER - FINISHING & VARNISHING (M/F)

Job Description

Your missions

• Your activity will be mainly divided between finishing work (70%) and varnishing and lacquering work (30%).
• 70% - Finishing work
• Carrying out finishing work on joinery elements, furniture, and interior fit-outs.
• Sanding, scouring, preparation, and surface treatment.
• Adjustments, retouching, and quality control of works.
• Preparation of parts before varnishing or lacquering.
• Carrying out meticulous finishing meeting high quality requirements.
• 30% - Varnishing and lacquering
• Application of varnishes, lacquers, and other finishing products.
• Preparation of products and adjustment of spray equipment.
• Carrying out homogeneous and high-quality finishes.
• Control of shades, appearances, and treated surfaces.
• Maintenance of equipment and compliance with safety instructions.
• Versatility in the workshop - Manufacturing and interior fit-out
• Beyond your main activity, you must be able to intervene, according to production needs, on all traditional workshop joinery tasks, notably:
• Manufacturing and assembly of custom furniture and interior fit-out elements.
• Realization of furniture, cupboards, dressing rooms, kitchens, and other interior fittings.
• Reading and interpreting technical and manufacturing plans.
• Cutting, machining, shaping, assembly, and adjustment of wood and derivative elements.
• Use of traditional joinery machines and equipment.
• Complete realization of works, from preparation to finishing.

Profile sought
-----------------

• Holder of a CFC in joinery, cabinet making, or a training deemed equivalent.
• Confirmed experience in workshop joinery and interior fit-out manufacturing.
• Excellent mastery of finishing, varnishing, and lacquering techniques.
• Solid skills in the manufacturing of custom furniture and fittings.
• Good mastery of workshop production machines and tools.
• Ability to work in total autonomy, from reading plans to final realization.
• Versatile, precise, organized person with attention to detail.
• Team spirit, sense of responsibility, and a taste for well-done work.
