Electrician or automation technician for entry into the field of railway interlocking systems

This is what you can achieve.

• You take care of construction, maintenance, and repair work on infrastructure facilities and thus make an important contribution to smooth railway traffic.
• A varied and diverse daily working routine awaits you at various SBB stations in the Luzern region.
• You ensure the decommissioning and commissioning of various interlocking systems: from electronic interlocking systems to relay interlockings.
• Through your systematic approach, you recognize and report irregularities and defects and initiate their rectification as well as further development.
• You undergo a two-year internal training as a technician for interlocking systems / female technician for interlocking systems. Here you will be trained to independently locate and rectify faults in the indoor facilities.
• With your newly acquired specialist knowledge and your experience, you independently locate and rectify faults in the safety systems during on-call service.

This is what you bring with you.

• You are committed to our organization as well as to the team and take on responsibility.
• Safety is your top priority, you are proficient in using common MS Office programs and have a flair for the seamless functioning of machines and facilities.
• You consider working indoors, as well as in any weather in the track area, to be exciting.
• You have completed basic training with EFZ in the electrotechnical field (automation, electromechanics, electrical installation) or in a similar field.
• Irregular work or on-call service at night and on weekends does not bother you.
• You possess a category B driver's license as well as good oral and written German skills (at least B2).
