In order for Switzerland's road network to function flawlessly and safely, road construction workers ensure its maintenance and repair. They survey, build, renew, repair and monitor roads, squares, sidewalks and utility lines: a versatile and physically active job in the fresh air, where teamwork and precision are required.

Requirement profile
.Completed school and good German skills
Safety awareness / ability to work in a team / independence
Manual dexterity / technical understanding
Enjoyment of working outdoors and handling equipment and machines
Flexible and no problems with night shifts and weekend work

Training
Duration of apprenticeship is 3 years
School: Theoretical part lessons at the vocational school for transport infrastructure builders.
Organizing work and ensuring occupational safety, health protection and environmental protection
Performing general work in transport infrastructure construction
Performing road construction work
