Polymechaniker/in 100 %

For our customer, we are looking for an experienced Polymechaniker 100 % with sound CNC knowledge and experience in the training of apprentices.

Your tasks

• Independent programming, setup, and run-in of the 5-axis milling machine Unisign Unipent 4000 with Siemens-Steuerung 840D
• If required, performing turning operations on a lathe with Heidenhain-Steuerung
• Monitoring and ensuring a smooth production process
• Adhering to, checking, and continuously optimizing quality standards
• Professional support and practical training of apprentices in the company

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a Polymechaniker or CNC-Mechaniker
• Several years of professional experience in CNC manufacturing, ideally 5 to 10 years
• At least 3 to 5 years of verifiable experience in the training and supervision of apprentices
• Sound experience with 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Good knowledge of Siemens-Steuerung 840D
• Experience in CNC turning operations is an advantage
• Knowledge of Mastercam as well as with the Heidenhain-Steuerung TNC 640 is an advantage
• Strong sense of quality and responsibility as well as an independent and structured way of working
• Very good German skills in spoken and written language
• Enjoyment of working with young adults as well as patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Teamwork ability and flexibility
• Completed vocational trainer course (40 hours) is mandatory. Alternatively, there is the possibility to complete the further training promptly after starting the position, provided there is appropriate willingness.
