As a dedicated member of our GE Vernova Repair team at the production site in Birr, you will actively participate in supporting the production department in a 2-shift operation. In doing so, you will bring your own initiative and contribute significantly to the optimization of our processes.

Your tasks

• Setting up and operating a CNC machine and a conventional lathe for the processing of turbine components
• Setting up the operating resources (fixtures, grinding wheels, milling tools and electrodes) to process the components in various setups
• Monitoring the systems and rectifying faults, also in cooperation with the maintenance department
• Carrying out maintenance work on the systems and peripheral devices
• Deburring and marking the components according to required specifications
• Performing independent dimensional checks (quality control) as well as confirming quality inspections through feedback in the SAP system
• Documenting production key figures

What you should bring (basic qualifications)

• Completed technical training or experience in industrial manufacturing
• Good knowledge of CNC machining and conventional turning
• Good knowledge and experience in quality inspection
• Good knowledge in reading technical drawings and documents
• Good PC skills and good German skills in speaking and writing
