Bicycle Mechanic, 80-100 % (m/f/d)

What awaits you with us:
Our team consists of four specialists, one apprentice, and up to 25 program participants. Together we repair bicycles and e-bikes, prepare used bikes for Velafrica, operate the Veloshop Bike4RJ, and undertake bicycle home delivery services in Rapperswil-Jona.

Your tasks:

• You professionally maintain, repair, and assemble bicycles and e-bikes
• You guide and support our program participants, as well as apprentices, in everyday workshop life and convey your specialist knowledge to them
• You take responsibility for workshop operations and our Veloshop Bike4RJ – from customer consultation to quality assurance
• You document the development of your participants and exchange information with internal and external agencies regarding their development
• You are actively involved when it comes to an event of the 2Rad-Team or also when the bicycle home delivery service has a bottleneck
• You take over the deputy role for the department management during their absence

Your profile:

• Completed training as a Bicycle Mechanic EFZ or equivalent vocational training
• Joy in working with people in special life situations and interest in professional work integration
• Strong organizational skills as well as very good written communication skills
• Independent, solution-oriented, and team-oriented way of working
