After-Sales Service Polisher

To strengthen the teams of our client, a prestigious Geneva watchmaking House, we are looking for an experienced Polisher to work within the After-Sales Service department.

Responsibilities

• Perform polishing and finishing operations on watch cases and components.
• Master the different finishing techniques: felting, polishing, brightening, satinating, sandblasting, and lapidary.
• Work on different materials such as steel, gold, platinum, titanium, or palladium.
• Perform touch-ups as well as the disassembly and reassembly of cases.
• Perform washing operations and ensure self-control of the parts.
• Check the aesthetic and technical conformity of the components produced.
• Identify and report any potential quality or technical problems.
• Ensure the proper maintenance of your workstation and your equipment.

Profile

• You have confirmed experience in polishing cases and watchmaking casing components, ideally acquired in an After-Sales Service environment.
• You master the main polishing tools: lapidary, belt sander, sandblaster, polishing lathe, and micromotor.
• You are comfortable with the disassembly and reassembly of watch cases.
• You know how to read technical drawings and work in compliance with demanding quality standards.
• Your precision, dexterity, patience, and concentration are recognized.
• Autonomous and rigorous, you demonstrate good initiative and appreciate meticulous work.
• Your availability and flexibility are additional assets.
