Foreman Structural Engineering (m/f/d)

Introduction

For our client, a solid and established company in the construction/structural engineering industry, we are looking for a technically competent and reliable personality as a Foreman Structural Engineering (m/f/d). As a foreman in structural engineering, you are responsible for the organization, coordination, and supervision of the construction work as well as for the leadership of the construction workers on the construction site.

Tasks

• Management of the construction site in structural engineering (quality, deadlines, costs) - from setup to acceptance
• Planning, organization, and coordination of daily workflows, work preparation (AVOR), resource and personnel deployment planning
• Coordination of subcontractors and suppliers; ensuring logistics and material availability
• Implementation of plans according to SIA standards, as well as compliance with safety and environmental guidelines
• Quality assurance on the construction site: internal and external inspections, defect management, protocol keeping
• Reporting, daywork reports, performance recording, and assistance with cost control
• Contact person on the construction site for construction management, client, and authorities; participation in construction meetings
• Leadership and promotion of the construction site team (instruction, occupational safety, apprentices)

Profile

• Completed basic training in the main construction trade (e.g., Mason EFZ or equivalent)
• Further training as a construction foreman with federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis) or as a certified foreman; Technician HF Construction Management is an advantage
• Several years of experience as a foreman/foreman/supervisor in structural engineering (shell construction, formwork/reinforcement work, interior finishing)
• Assertive, structured, and solution-oriented; high sense of responsibility and teamwork skills
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
• Driver's license Cat. B
