Job Description

Route and Vehicles

• Support in the operation and use of special vehicles for the cleaning and maintenance of transport and track systems.
• Participation in the mechanical cleaning of routes, tracks and switches on the entire transport network, including underground facilities.
• Performance of cleaning, suction and flushing work on transport and infrastructure facilities.
• Care and cleaning of routes as well as removal of weeds and leaves in the area of various transport facilities.
• Support with maintenance and repair work on track and switch systems.
• General workshop work as well as simple maintenance work on vehicles, machines and equipment.
• Participation in nocturnal standby assignments for winter maintenance and de-icing of transport facilities with special vehicles.

Stops and Infrastructure

• Performance of mechanical maintenance work and repairs at stops and their infrastructure.
• Installation and updating of passenger information such as posters, timetables and notices.
• Preparation, control and provision of components of the passenger information system.
• Performance of control and quality assurance tours at stops and infrastructure facilities.
• Completion of administrative work such as reporting and documentation.
• Support with cleaning work in waiting areas and stops.
• Performance of simple maintenance work on vehicles and technical facilities.

Required Profile

• Completed 3-year vocational training, preferably in the field of metal construction, industry, logistics or a comparable technical profession.
• Driver's license Cat. B mandatory.
• Driver's license Cat. C/E an advantage or willingness and suitability to acquire it.
• Professional experience in Switzerland or on the Swiss labor market.
• Good German language skills at least at level B2.
• Technical understanding, manual dexterity and willingness to perform practical work outdoors.
• Willingness to work shifts and night shifts as well as seasonal on-call duties.
