Initial situation ###

For our client, we are looking for an experienced personality for the mechanical assembly of sophisticated machines and process plants. You will work independently according to technical drawings and assembly documentation, undertake the construction of complex mechanical assemblies, and ensure the flawless function of the plants with precision and technical understanding.

Tasks ###

• Independent mechanical assembly of machines, process plants, and components
• Reading and implementing mechanical drawings, assembly documentation, technical specifications, and bills of materials
• Assembly of complex assemblies such as containers, agitators, homogenizers, gearboxes, seals, piping systems, and machine frames
• Installation and correct positioning of mechanical, pneumatic, and process technology components
• Precise alignment, fitting, setting, and adjusting of components and assemblies
• Carrying out mechanical adjustments and modifications during assembly
• Identifying and resolving mechanical problems in cooperation with the engineering department
• Carrying out dimension and function controls
• Support during factory acceptances and function tests
• Support during commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting at the customer site
• Mechanical maintenance, repair, and overhaul of existing plants
• Cooperation with engineering, automation, project management, quality, and service
• Technical support for junior employees in assembly
• Documentation of the assembly work performed
• Compliance with quality and GMP-relevant specifications
• Participation in the optimization of assembly processes and manufacturing processes

Requirements ###

• Completed training as a polymechanic, mechanic, industrial mechanic, assembly specialist, or comparable
• Several years of experience in mechanical assembly, ideally in machine or plant engineering
• Very good understanding of technical and mechanical drawings
• Good knowledge of assembly, tolerances, fits, bearings, seals, and precision components
• Experience with process plants, piping systems, or hygienic components is an advantage
• Pneumatics knowledge and basic understanding of automation components is an advantage

A technically demanding task for an experienced assembly specialist who enjoys working independently and gets complex mechanical systems running. You will accompany varied projects from assembly through tests and acceptances to commissioning and service assignments. In doing so, you will work closely with engineering, automation, and project management and can directly contribute your practical know-how to the quality and further development of sophisticated machines and process plants.
