For our Neuchâtel agency, we are looking for a:

Works Supervisor - Energy Renovation Service

Your missions

You support property owners in their renovation projects and the energy upgrading of their assets. To this end, you ensure the technical, administrative, and financial management of renovation works for residential buildings, while guaranteeing compliance with current standards, respect for deadlines, budget, and safety. You organize your work with great autonomy, in close connection with the management teams.

1. Preliminary project: you visit the building, perform quick measurements, and estimate the cost of works based on your experience, with a precision of ± 25 %, without requesting offers,
2. Proposal to the owner: in collaboration with the building's management team, you present the recommended works, the budget, and the schedule, and obtain their validation,
3. Coordination of specialists: when the project requires it, you mandate and coordinate the architect (submission of plans), civil engineer, HVAC engineer, or thermal engineer,
4. Tenders and awards: you consult companies, compare offers, negotiate, and award the works,
5. Financing and subsidies: you prepare construction credit files for banks and subsidy applications,
6. Site monitoring: you maintain the schedule, ensure regular visits, coordinate companies and, with the management team, ensure the information of tenants,
7. Financial management: you control progress reports and invoices, order payments, and track the budget, in coordination with the portfolio manager in charge of the building management,
8. Closing: you establish the final statement and finalize the subsidies.

You work in a pair with the department head and rely on the management teams (administration, technical, legal).

Your profile:

• CFC in a construction trade (building draftsman, construction trade, or finishing trade); a works supervisor certificate or an ES technician training is an asset,
• Proven experience in works supervision in a general contractor company, or in site monitoring in an architecture firm or a real estate agency in Switzerland,
• Ability to plan, organize, and steer renovation projects, ensuring respect for deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements,
• Good knowledge of the laws and standards applicable in Switzerland and in the canton of Neuchâtel, as well as market prices,
• Ability to perform estimations based on summary measurements,
• Financial and administrative mastery: ease with figures and financial monitoring of projects (budgets, progress reports, invoices, and statements), as well as with financing procedures and subsidy files,
• Interest in energy renovation: sensitivity to issues related to the building envelope, heat pumps, and technical installations,
• Autonomy, rigor, sense of priorities and responsibilities, analytical mind, and ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions,
• Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation skills, and ease in exchanges with clients, subcontractors, architects, and other partners.
• Mastery of standard office tools.
