Chief Technician Heat Pumps (m/f/d) (80–100 %)

As a Chief Technician, you are a central technical contact point for heat pumps. You support our service technicians with demanding questions, analyze complex malfunctions, and ensure that our systems are professionally commissioned, diagnosed, and repaired.

In doing so, you work both in technical support and directly at our customers' systems. In this function, you report to Co-Head of Service, Heat Pumps, Roberto Di Cerbo.

Your area of operation covers the whole of Switzerland. Since you start many assignments directly from your place of residence, living in Central Switzerland or the Mittelland is an advantage.

Your tasks

• Technical 1st and 2nd level support for our service technicians and customer service for the area of heat pumps and technology.
• Support with general and demanding technical customer inquiries
• Systematic error analysis and support in troubleshooting – by telephone, via remote access, and on-site
• Commissioning, functional testing, and optimization of heat pump systems
• Diagnosis and repair of heat pumps including work on the refrigeration circuit
• Accompanying our service technicians during complex service assignments
• Support in the introduction and professional training of new service technicians
• Creation and maintenance of checklists, instructions, and technical documentation
• Analysis of recurring error patterns and participation in the further development of our service quality
• Support of the service management and deputy
• Close cooperation with the Co-Head of Service and existing Chief Technician WP, Roberto Di Cerbo

You bring with you

• Completed basic technical training in the field of heating, refrigeration, or electrical engineering (Heating Installer EFZ, Refrigeration System Fitter EFZ, Electrical Installer EFZ)
• Several years of professional experience in service, commissioning, and troubleshooting of heat pumps
• Profound knowledge in hydraulics, electrical, control, and refrigeration technology
• Professional permit for handling refrigerants
• Further training as a specialist for heating systems, Chief Fitter, Technician HF, or a comparable qualification is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to complex malfunctions
• Enjoyment in passing on knowledge in an understandable way and providing professional support to employees
• Confident handling of digital diagnosis, service, and documentation systems
• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working
• High willingness for regular assignments at our customers and associated readiness to travel
• Friendly and competent appearance towards customers, employees, and partners
• Good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Other national languages, especially French, are an advantage
• Driver's license category B
